Rent a Villa on the Silver Coast in Portugal
Our villa was built and delivered in June 2021 and is located in the small town of Nadadouro, in a newly built and quiet street and is located amidst traditional buildings and is about 4 km from the coast.
Our villa has 3 spacious bedrooms and can accommodate 6 adults (pets are not allowed). There are wonderful beds for a good night's sleep. One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom. There is also a spacious bathroom. The spacious living room is connected to the kitchen, which is equipped with many conveniences. There is a private heated swimming pool of 8 meters in length. It is heated from May to October. In addition, there is a beautiful spacious terrace and a fixed barbecue. From the garden you have a beautiful view of the surroundings..
The garden is located on the west. So you can fully enjoy the sun and therefore beautiful sunsets. Wonderful to enjoy in peace.
Shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Those looking for a vibrant nightlife have come to the wrong place. For that you better go to a big city.

Golfing in Portugal on the Silver Coast
There are four 18-hole golf courses on the Silver Coast in Portugal. They are all located on the other side of the lagoon, about a 25-minute drive from our villa. There are Royal Obidos, Westcliffs, Bom Sucesso en Praia D’el Rey.

Surroundings
Nadadouro is located on the Costa de Prata, which is a region on the west coast of Portugal, located between Lisbon and Porto. The Silver Coast starts north of the Costa de Lisboa, roughly at Torres Vedras. It is not entirely clear how far north this costa runs and is indicated differently. The northern border is approximately at the height of the city of Leiria.
Nadadouro is about an hour's drive from Lisbon airport near the Laguna de Óbidos. On the coast, the town of Foz do Arelho is approximately 4 km from the villa. A nice place to enjoy the view of the sea while enjoying a snack and a drink. The beautiful wide beach lies here between the ocean and the lagoon of Óbidos. The lagoon consists of beautiful nature and you can fish, walk and cycle here.
Further inland, also close by, is the larger town of Caldas da Rainha. This is traditionally a spa and and the city is known for its fruit cultivation. There are several markets every week and there are numerous shops and restaurants.
Also nearby is the tourist town of Óbidos. The castle located here in the walled center attracts many tourists every year. The center is known for the whitewashed houses. You can walk on the wall with beautiful views of the area and Obidos itself.
A little further south, Peniche is located on the coast. A beautiful fishing village located on a peninsula. Here also beautiful beaches and surfers can be found here. There is a boat connection from Peniche to the Berlengas archipelago.
Further north is the seaside resort of Nazaré, which is known for the high waves and the world surfing championships. The current is strong here and the sea is less suitable for swimming here.
